  1. Atticus says:

GOOD: Solid two stud wall mount, Tilt, Arms do not sag at all.
    Universal VESA size support.

OK: Installation can be time consuming, use two people!

BAD: Bulky, the TV hangs 4″ from the wall, it limits access to my TV
connections in the back (TV Specific). It has less mobility than a
single arm wall mount. I had to cut to size for a 32″ TV.

    INSTALLATION:
Well I installed a 32″ LCD with this wall mount and it seems to be solid.
It was very easy to attach the wall plate to the wall studs.
Connecting the rest of the hardware to the TV was a little time consuming.
There are six adjustment screws that clamp to the horizontal bars, they
can be a little awkward to tighten. I had to cut the horizontal bars to
fit the width of the TV. A larger TV may not require this step.
Hanging the TV on the wall mount was easy, but setting the screws that
lock the TV to the wall plate was a BIT**. Then again, I did this by
myself and the instructions clearly say to “Use two people”.

    OPINION:
This mount can support a much larger TV than the one I mounted. I was
going for overkill. This TV is going in my son’s room. We have three boys
in one room an clearly have no space for even a standard 19″ TV. I have
done two other LCD installations and both of them sagged using a single
arm wall mount. This mount DOES NOT SAG! It also does not move as easy
or as far compared to the single arm wall mounts. This works out best
in my case. Less is more. Also I had to deal with the fact that the TV
required a VESA 400×200 screw pattern. Overkill in my opinion. The TV
is mounted high in the room so it needed a good tilt angle and it does.
Bottom line it was the right combination for my needs. I give it “4 STARS”
